Holmes, the podcast host, to mention that he and Amy Robach, his former co-host on “GMA3,” might not be allowed inside Disney parks anymore.
During the podcast episode, T.J. Holmes jokingly said, “I don’t think we are allowed on the park’s grounds anymore. We will check. Last we checked, we weren’t.” While Holmes’ statement was lighthearted, it raised questions about whether he and Robach had been banned from Disney parks. Before their relationship was exposed in November 2022, Robach and Holmes worked together on the ABC network, which is owned by Disney. Their romance prompted their suspension from their jobs for nearly two months before they were eventually let go in January 2023. The couple began dating while training side-by-side for the New York City Half Marathon in March 2022, while they were still married to their respective exes.
At the time of their relationship’s revelation, Holmes had been married to Marilee Fiebig for 13 years, and they share a 10-year-old daughter named Sabine. Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig on December 28, 2022, almost two months after his relationship with Robach was exposed. On the other hand, Robach’s divorce from Andrew Shue was nearly finalized when the news came out.
Interestingly, while Robach and Holmes continue to maintain a united front, their exes have formed a romantic connection of their own. Page Six exclusively revealed in December 2023 that Shue and Fiebig are now dating. Photos obtained by the outlet showed them jetting out of New York City together, indicating a connection that may have been sparked by the scandal involving Robach and Holmes.
In a previous episode of their podcast, Holmes and Robach vehemently denied cheating on their spouses. Holmes clarified, “To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers – being outed as cheating on our spouses – and it wasn’t the case.” He further explained that both he and Robach were already in divorce proceedings at the time their relationship was exposed.
