Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently took to TikTok to showcase her recovery journey after undergoing a nose job. In her video, the 32-year-old discussed her plastic surgery transformation as she sat in her bathroom applying foundation. She emphasized the caution needed in handling her nose post-surgery, mentioning that her nose is still in the healing process. Prior to the procedure in April, Blanchard had conducted research on social media to understand what to anticipate. She was surprised to learn that it takes a full year to see the final results of a nose job, highlighting the swelling and fluctuating appearance during the recovery period.
Despite the challenges, the criminal-turned-influencer expressed satisfaction with the results of her surgery. Blanchard shared before and after photos of her nose, revealing her previous prominent bump and the refined shape after the surgery. She recounted feeling insecure about her nasal appearance, emphasizing the impact of teasing on her self-esteem. The after-effects of the surgery included bandages for five days, internal packing, and discomfort with breathing. She candidly talked about the itchiness from internal stitches and the challenge of managing post-operative congestion.
Contentment with Transformation
Although it has been over a month since the surgery, Blanchard still relies on pain relief medication to manage discomfort. Nonetheless, she expressed contentment with her current appearance and stated that she has no intentions of pursuing further plastic surgery. Emphasizing her satisfaction with her feminine figure, curves, and features, Blanchard affirmed that she is proud of her body and has no desire to alter it further. She reiterated her stance on embracing her authentic self without the need for additional enhancements.
Following her release from prison in December 2022, where she served time for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, Gypsy has been on a journey of personal transformation. This includes not only physical changes like the nose job but also psychological and emotional growth. In addition to the rhinoplasty, she underwent a dental procedure to replace silver teeth with new white caps and opted for a hair color change from brunette to blonde. These alterations signify her commitment to evolving and embracing a new chapter in her life post-incarceration.
