At a recent New York Fashion Week show, rapper Lil’ Kim made a grand entrance which caused quite a stir. Initially expected to arrive at 4:30 p.m., Lil’ Kim was delayed and the show had to start without her in the front row. However, when she did arrive, she managed to show up three minutes earlier than anticipated, although it was still midway through the show. Despite her tardiness, Lil’ Kim’s presence left the fashion crowd in awe.
According to reports, Lil’ Kim was nothing but gracious upon her arrival. She was flanked by bodyguards as she made her entrance, accompanied by Lady Gaga’s “Judas” playing in the background. Shown to her seat by Siriano’s rep Bianca Bianconi, Lil’ Kim sat between Cyndi Lauper and Tiffany Haddish. She even took the time to compliment Bianca, leaving her blushing with her kind words.
Lil’ Kim’s charm did not stop with the fashion crew. She also made a point to interact with the attendees, including a young girl who had been attending Siriano’s shows since she was a baby. Lil’ Kim’s lighthearted comment about the girl’s cartwheeling skills showed her down-to-earth nature and ability to connect with fans of all ages.
After Siriano’s fashion show, Lil’ Kim made her way to the afterparty at Hearsay, where she arrived in a stunning black ensemble. Surrounded by bodyguards, Lil’ Kim took over the VIP area and seemed genuinely happy to support Christian Siriano. Despite her glamorous appearance, she was described as elegant and fun-loving, dancing and mingling with other celebrities such as Coco Rocha, Selma Blair, and Christina Hendricks.
Lil’ Kim’s night didn’t end with Siriano’s party. She stayed to enjoy the evening even after the club opened to the public. Alongside guests like Meghann Fahy, David Rosenthal, and Alicia Vikander, Lil’ Kim continued to bring her star power to the celebration. The night culminated in a blackout at the bar, reminiscent of the 2013 blackout, where guests were left to dance in the dark and enjoy classic tunes like Cher’s “Believe.”
Lil’ Kim’s presence at NYFW was not just about fashion and glamour, but also about her ability to connect with people and bring joy to any event she attends. Her late arrival may have caused a stir, but her grace, charm, and genuine interactions with fans and fellow celebrities truly stole the show.
