Princess Beatrice’s Winter Adventure in St. Moritz

Princess Beatrice’s Winter Adventure in St. Moritz

Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, recently enjoyed a cozy vacation in snowy St. Moritz. The royal couple was accompanied by a group of friends including Princess Olympia of Greece, Prince Ernst August of Hanover, and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece. Despite the chilly weather, Princess Beatrice showcased her impeccable style by rocking a pair of figure-flattering skinny jeans paired with trendy Converse high-tops. She completed her winter look with a cream coat, a navy pom pom beanie, and a subtle touch of natural makeup. Edoardo looked equally sophisticated in a herringbone coat, a black baseball cap, and a smart navy jumper, ready to take on the icy conditions with a sturdy pair of boots.

The couple’s romantic holiday escapade took place over Valentine’s Day, as Edoardo shared a stunning photo of snow-capped mountains on Instagram with the caption “OUT OF OFFICE ON”. Princess Beatrice has always had a fondness for ski holidays, stemming from her childhood. In 2022, she and Edoardo embarked on a ski trip to Verbier with her sister, Princess Eugenie, and Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank. This love for skiing was inherited from their mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, who has been an avid skier since a young age and even worked as a chalet girl before joining the royal family. However, they decided to sell their ski lodge, Chalet Helora, for a substantial amount in 2023, according to The Telegraph.

In addition to her winter escapades, Princess Beatrice remains committed to her philanthropic endeavors. She recently hosted a tea party at St James’s Palace for the supporters of the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity. Diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of seven, Beatrice has been a patron of the charity since 2013. During the event, she shared her personal journey with dyslexia and expressed her determination to change the narrative surrounding the learning disability. Beatrice also took the time to meet with the charity’s dedicated supporters, including Lynn and Christopher Pan, who traveled from Switzerland, as well as actress Susan Hampshire CBE and Roger Jefcoate CBE, who serve as Vice Patrons of the organization. Family members of the charity’s founder, the late Helen Arkell MBE, also attended the event, underscoring Beatrice’s commitment to raising awareness about dyslexia.

Overall, Princess Beatrice’s winter getaway in St. Moritz not only highlighted her chic sense of style but also underscored her dedication to charitable causes. From leisurely curling matches to meaningful advocacy work, Beatrice continues to make a positive impact in various facets of her life.
