Interestingly, the Aman hotel is in close proximity to Trump Tower. Ivanka, who is a former first daughter and White House adviser, had previously expressed her decision to distance herself from politics.
In an upcoming book by Variety editor Ramin Setoodeh titled “Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass,” it was revealed that Donald Trump once considered having Ivanka replace him on the reality TV show “The Apprentice” when he left the series. This show, which aired for 15 seasons from 2004 to 2017, saw Trump departing in 2015 to focus on his presidential campaign, eventually winning the presidency in 2016.
According to reports, Donald Trump suggested Ivanka Trump as his replacement on “The Apprentice” due to her capabilities, but NBC was not in favor of the idea as they felt it would create a familial dynamic that might not be well-received by the audience. Eventually, NBC went with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the new host of the show after Trump’s departure.
